SIERRA LEONE POLICE WANTED REWARD INCREASED FOR COUP PLOTTERS

The Sierra Leone police department that is investigating the failed coup attempt have announced a reward increase for anyone that will provide information to arrest of any coup plotters. The reward was increased from Le50,000 to Le70,000.

This announcement came during a press conference by the inspector general of police where the police announced the arrest of  80 suspects. One of the suspects in custody is the former president Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma.

The former president was invited by the police for interrogation. After couple interviews, the police announced that the former president is a suspect for the failed coup.
